In the upcoming film “Hi Nanna”, Nani and Mrunal Thakur play a couple. Hesham Abdul Wahab’s composition “Ammadi” is the film’s third song. The song opens with a voice telling us that it is dedicated to her husband, then we witness Mrunal Thakur singing it at an occasion. “This is a special song I wrote for my husband. He’s running late as usual. The song is in Telugu, my mother tongue,” she explains.
The song then depicts Nani and Mrunal’s marital life, from their wedding day to their happy early marriage days. Krishna Kanth wrote the lyrics. Shakthisree Gopalan contributes her voice. Kaala Bhairava also contributes his voice.
The song is a tad slow and not as catchy as the film’s first tune.
The film is produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala of Vyra Entertainments. Shouryuv, a newcomer, is the director. On December 7th, “Hi Nanna” will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
