Actress Anasuya Bharadwaj has once again made headlines with a strongly worded social media post. Just as Vijay Deverakonda’s “Kingdom” is set to hit theaters, she posted this. It’s no secret that she shares a strained dynamic with Vijay and his fans, often sparking reactions around his film releases.
In her latest open letter, Anasuya Bharadwaj addressed targeted online trolling. She alleged that some social media channels have been creating content shaming her for her fashion choices and criticizing her for being bold despite being a mother of two.
“Being bold doesn’t mean being disrespectful,” she wrote. “Dressing in a way that reflects my personality doesn’t imply I’ve lost my values.” She went on to say that her children are growing up seeing a confident woman, and her husband and family stand firmly by her side.
“Yes, I am a woman, a wife, and a mother of two. Glamour, style, and confidence have always been integral to my identity,” she added.
Anasuya concluded her note by asserting, “I simply desire the freedom to live my way, just as you wish to live yours.”
When a follower questioned the timing of her post, suggesting she always speaks up when a Vijay Deverakonda film releases, Anasuya dismissed it, saying she doesn’t follow his film schedule or releases.
