Fans of Pawan Kalyan were left disappointed by the outcome of “Hari Hara Veera Mallu,” which failed to live up to expectations and is now considered a box office flop. Naturally, all eyes are now on “OG,” which fans believe will truly showcase Pawan Kalyan’s charisma and star power.
Since its announcement, “OG” has been generating significant buzz. Directed by Sujeeth, the gangster drama had already locked its release date for September 25, 2025. However, in the wake of HHVM’s underwhelming performance, doubts had surfaced about whether the release might be delayed. Putting all speculation to rest, the makers have now officially confirmed that the film remains on schedule.
Music director Thaman also hinted that song promotions will begin soon, with the first track expected to release in the first week of August.
Titled “They Call Him OG,” or simply “OG,” the film features Pawan Kalyan as a retired gangster who returns to settle scores. The story reportedly has a connection to another major film released a few years ago, further adding to the intrigue.
Priyanka Mohan plays the female lead, while DVV Danayya is producing the film under the DVV Entertainment banner.
