Recently, Anjali confidently announced that she had three films scheduled for release this year, all of which have titles starting with the letter ‘A’. She expressed certainty that all three films, each distinct from the others in terms of script, cast, and crew, would achieve great success.
Out of these three films, the first one titled “Geethanjali Malli Vachindi” was released on Thursday, coinciding with the Ramzan festival. It performed poorly in terms of ticket sales. The film has not been able to achieve even decent collection so far.
Based on the current pattern, the film is unlikely to have any visible growth on Saturday and Sunday. She got her first flop this year.
In addition to its failure, she must be regretting that the producers advertised it as her 50th feature. A milestone film failed.

Let us hope that she achieves success with her next two films, “Gangs of Godavari” and “Game Changer,” as they have the potential to be moneyspinners. The film “Gangs of Godavari” is set to be released next month. In the film “Game Changer” directed by Shankar and starring Ram Charan, she portrays a main character, although not the main female lead.
