Anushka Shetty and director Krish have teamed up once again after their successful collaboration on “Vedam.” Their latest film, Ghaati, is now set for release.
Today, the makers announced that “Ghaati” will hit theaters on July 11, 2025. The release date poster features Anushka, Vikram Prabhu, and others carrying bags as they wade through a river.
“Ghaati” explores the smuggling and illegal cultivation of ganja in the Uttarandhra region, with Anushka Shetty playing the don of this operation. This marks her return to the big screen after Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty (2023). Her look in the film is gritty and raw.
Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film is presented by UV Creations and produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi.
“Ghaati” will release in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi on July 11, 2025.
