Anushka Shetty is back in action mode with “Ghaati”, a massive action entertainer that is gearing up for a grand release on September 5 in multiple languages.
Shot extensively in the picturesque Eastern Ghats, “Ghaati” explores an untouched landscape in Telugu cinema. While the story touches on marijuana cultivation, Anushka insists it is only one aspect of a much deeper narrative.
Speaking with Rana Daggubati during promotions, Anushka said the film offers an “organic flow of action within the story” and praised Krish’s vision for delivering yet another cinematic experience. She plays Sheelavati, a character she believes will be remembered on par with her iconic role Saroja from “Vedam.”
Produced lavishly by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments, “Ghaati” is already carrying strong buzz ahead of release. She skips the physical promotions but director Krish is fine with her decision.
Promising fans more appearances, Anushka also confirmed she has lined up multiple projects for the coming months and into next year.
“I want to keep working continuously and bring films back-to-back for my audience,” she said, assuring that her second innings will be busier than ever.
