Anushka Shetty and director Krish have teamed up for a drama based on real incidents. Titled “Ghaati,” the film focuses on the ganja smuggling and harvesting in the Uttarandhra region.
“Ghaati” wrapped its shooting long back, and the makers announced April 18, 2025, as the release date but later pushed it to May. But now, there is no buzz or announcement about its new release date.
Sources have informed us that the film will either arrive in theaters in late June or July. The delay in visual effects of certain parts is the reason for the movie’s postponement.
Anushka plays the main central role, and Tamil actor Vikram Prabhu appears as Desi Raju.
Krish needs this film to be successful, as his previous film, “Kondapolam,” was a box office failure. And he quit Pawan Kalyan’s “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” after completing more than half of the film. So, he needs to deliver a success to be back in the competition.
