Andhra Pradesh high court has stayed the release of director Ram Gopal Varma’s “Lakshmi’s NTR”, which was scheduled to hit the screens on March 29. The judge asked the producer to arrange a special preview of the movie in court chamber on April 3rd. Upon watching the movie, the judge will take final call on the movie’s release.
The film’s release has been caught in the middle of a controversy after Telugu Desam party has raised objections as the film paints the party’s supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu as villain.
On the other hand, Telangana High Court has earlier dismissed the petitions seeking ban on release of “Lakshmi’s NTR”.
