Oscar award-winning music composer AR Rahman has not tasted success with his straight Telugu albums. But his songs through dubbed movies set the box-office on fire in Telugu states. Regarded as one of the music legends in Indian cinema, Rahman has a great fan following in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
His combination with director Shankar is considered the best. Shankar, however, recently teamed up with Anirudh Ravichandar instead of Rahman for ‘Indian 2’. But now, he seems to be collaborating with Rahman again.
Recently, Rahman was asked by a fan when would he come up with a Telugu film. To this, Rahman replied, “very soon.” Fans are expecting that he must be composing for Ram Charan and Shankar’s new film.
Shankar recently announced his next film with Ram Charan. Dil Raju is bankrolling it.
