Aravindha Sametha music: Different album

Aravindha Sametha has only four songs in it. The film is creating good expectations. Let us evaluate the songs of the film.

Yeda Poinado

Things start off on a serious note as ‘Yeda Poinado’ showcases the pen power of the legendary Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry. The song is a part hero elevation number and part situational one which gives the seriousness of the problems in Rayalaseema. There is a heaviness in the lyrics which elevate the emotions in a good manner. Thaman has made sure that there is style even in his pathos which would suit NTR’s body language.

Anaganagana

This is one of the lighter songs in the album. The lyrics take the cake and dominates the tune which has been kept peppy. Thaman has infused some traditional beats through the chorus and the song nicely sits through the meaningful lyrics. Romance is in the air as the song dwells on you in its own way. With Trivikram’s style of taking this energetic song will keep the audience interested in the proceedings.

Peniviti

So much is being said about this song Peniviti. The song has a very ordinary tune to it and one can say that Thaman has played a safe game in keeping this song catchy. The rhyming mode of the lyrics by Ramjogayya Sastry is where the song scores brownie points. The added bonus to the song is Kala Bhairava’s singing. This song comes at a key time in the film and will be hummable once you go through the emotions yourself.

Reddy Ikkada Soodu

Thaman who is famous for his mass tunes disappoints with the last song of the album. Lyrics and tune wise, there is nothing special that you can rave about in this song. Daler Mehendi is brought on board and his energetic voice is the saving grace of this song which is there only to please NTR fans.

Bottom Line

One can say that the music album of Aravinda Sametha is experimental and situational. Thaman just follows Trivikram’s instructions and gives numbers which take the story forward. Creativity wise there is nothing new but Anaganagana and Peniviti will please NTR fans. But the other songs will only impress the audience only if they get involved with the serious proceedings and Trivikram’s taking. For that, we need to wait for the film to release.
