Ashu Reddy responds to fraud allegations with legal warning

Ashu Reddy aka Ashwini Reddy, actress and social media influencer known for Bigg Boss Telugu, has found herself at the center of controversy following a serious fraud complaint filed in Hyderabad. While the allegations have sparked widespread attention, Ashu Reddy has now reacted with a firm legal warning.

In a recent social media post, she stated that anyone spreading false information or unverified news about her without permission would face strict legal action. She wrote on Instagram stories, “”Without my consent, any news or false information that is passing through, will be taken a sever legal action. Respect.”

The case stems from a complaint filed by London-based NRI software engineer Y V Dharmendra at the Hyderabad Central Crime Station (CCS). Filed jointly with his father, the complaint accuses the actress of financial deception under the pretext of a personal relationship.

According to the allegations, Dharmendra claims that Ashu Reddy entered into a romantic relationship with him and assured him of marriage. Based on this, he says he invested nearly Rs 9.35 crore in various ventures and high-value assets at her insistence, including luxury purchases and other financial commitments.

He further alleges that after receiving the funds and assets, Ashu Reddy and her family backed out of the marriage proposal and cut off all communication. Claiming he was misled, Dharmendra pursued legal action, leading to an official investigation.

The CCS police have since initiated a probe into the matter, examining financial transactions, bank records, and related documents to verify the claims. The investigation is currently underway.
