There’s no doubt that ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari’, which completes 30 years of its release on Saturday (May 9), is an iconic film that is favorite to all moviegoers. But will it ever get a sequel? Well, producer C Ashwini Dutt has been saying that his dream is to make a sequel to ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari’.
Since the debut of Ram Charan in ‘Chirutha’, which was also produced by C Ashwini Dutt, the game of sequel to ‘JVAS’ being played out regularly. There was even strong that Sridevi was planning to launch her daughter Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine in this sequel. But it didn’t happen.
Janhvi Kapoor made a debut in a Hindi film titled ‘Dhadak’.
Perhaps, Ashwini Dutt has realized that the sequel with Ram Charan may not happen again. When asked about the sequel with Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor is still on the cards, Ashwini Dutt said, “It would be wonderful if it can happen.”
Ram Charan has no interest in acting in this sequel because veteran director Raghavendra Rao’s ideas don’t click with today’s audiences.
