Asin hasn’t worked under the arc lights in a very long time. After marrying businessman Rahul Sharma, the ‘Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi’ and ‘Gajini’ star decided to leave the entertainment industry.
But there have been whispers that she and her husband are divorcing. Asin’s decision to delete photos of her and her husband from Instagram sparked the rumors.
But, she debunked these claims with a new post.
The actress posted to Instagram, “In the middle of our summer holidays right now, literally sitting across each other enjoying our breakfast and came across some very imaginative and utterly baseless ‘NEWS’.”
She didn’t elaborate on why she deleted photos of her husband and only kept those of her daughter.
With a number of successful films in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi in the 2000s, Asin was widely regarded as one of India’s top actresses.
