‘Baahubali 2’ has penned history at USA box-office as the film now stands at no.3 place in box-office charts. IMDB, that regularly updates the box-office numbers in USA, has published the figures of weekend collections of ‘Baahubali 2’ too. While ‘The Fate of the Furious’ stands at no.1 place with 19.1 million dollars, ‘Baahubali 2’ grabbed 3rd position with an estimated gross of 10.1 million dollars. Second place went to ‘ How to Be a Latin Lover’ that grossed 12 million dollars.
‘Baahubali 2’ in its opening weekend has crossed the lifetime gross of ‘Baahubali 1’. According to BoxofficeMojo website, no Indian film has got such huge opening weekend in USA.
‘Baahubali 2’ was distributed by Great India Films. Their meticulous planning in release strategy has paid huge dividends. They have now created history with Rajamouli’s epic drama that is winning great reviews from celebrities. Even Tamil superstar Rajinikanth declared that the film is pride of Indian cinema and he termed Rajamouli as God’s own child.
