Bangarraju dares to join the Sankranthi race?

Nagarjuna who is busy shooting for an action drama titled ‘Wild Dog’ will also launch a new film this year. It will be a sequel to his 2016 hit ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’. The sequel titled ‘Bangarraju’ has been in the planning for a long time but it is now finally shaping up to hit the floors. 

According to sources, the movie is now in its pre-production stage. Nagarjuna plays the lead role while Naga Chaitanya steps in to share the screen space with his father in another lead role. Ramya Krishna who played Nag’s wife in the first part will continue the same in the sequel as well. The female lead for Naga Chaitanya has not yet been finalized.

Kalyan Krishna had directed two blockbusters for Annapurna Studios banner – ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ and ‘Rarandoi Veduka Chudham’ will direct this sequel as well. He wrote the script. Buzz is that Nagarjuna is thinking to launch the movie in the direction in June and release it on January 15, 2020. So, it will compete with Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ which is scheduled for January 8, 2020. Will Nagarjuna dare release it a week after ‘RRR’ release? We have to wait and watch.
