Dhanush starrer ‘Karnan’ got released on April 9 in Tamilnadu and went on to become a blockbuster. The movie is now being remade in Telugu with Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas reprising Dhanush’s role.
Who would direct the film in Telugu is yet to be known. It will be Bellamkonda Srinivas’s next film as his Bollywood entry with the remake of ‘Chatrapathi’ has been put on hold due to the current COVID-19 crisis.
Bellamkonda earlier had acted in ‘Rakshasudu’, which was the remake of another Tamil hit, Ratsasan.
