“Bhairavam,” starring Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas in the lead role, is an adaptation of a Tamil film, but the team promises a completely fresh experience for Telugu audiences. The story revolves around three friends and a village temple, with Nara Rohit and Manchu Manoj playing key roles.
Speaking about the film, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas stated that Bhairavam goes beyond a mere remake.
“The treatment of this film is very unique. Only the soul of the original Tamil version has been retained, and it has been brilliantly adapted with a more gripping narrative tailored for the Telugu audience,” he said.
He also highlighted how the film’s music blends seamlessly with the story, adding that Aditi Shankar’s debut is a major highlight. She stars opposite Sai Srinivas, marking her entry into Telugu cinema with a promising role.
With the theater shutdown now postponed indefinitely, “Bhairavam” is set to hit screens on May 30, and promotions are in full swing.
