Bharateeyudu 2 trailer: Tom and Jerry game begins!

The long-awaited sequel to the 1996 smash hit Shankar’s “Bharateeyudu” (“Indian”) is here. The film, titled “Bharateeyudu 2” in Telugu, “Hindustani 2” in Hindi, and “Indian 2” in Tamil, will be released on July 12, 2024. Today, the film’s trailer was released.

The trailer begins with the voice of a girl complaining about bare-minimum amenities in India, with the poor suffering from a variety of challenges and the ruling governments’ indifference to them. Siddharth portrays a young man who believes that just one person can reform the entire system and bring responsibility to politics. He is Senapathy, a great freedom fighter. Thus, Senapathy, played by Kamal Haasan, enters the show.

Kamal Haasan performed the same character in the 1996 film. Reprising it, Senapathy proclaims that he will lead the second independence movement in the footsteps of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose. As a result, we get to see a lot of breathtaking action.

The trailer features filmmaker Shankar’s characteristic huge setting, fantastic cinematography, and incredible action stunts. The trailer introduces the basic plot.

Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies are producing the project. The star-studded cast comprised S.J. Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, and Nedumudi Venu.
