With the exit of “Pushpa 2 The Rule” from the Independence Day slot, the first film to take it was Ram Pothineni’s “Double iSmart.” This film’s shooting is quickly coming to an end.
This slot is particularly important because it includes a holiday on Thursday (August 15), a weekend, and another holiday on Monday (Raksha Bandhan). So, two more films have entered the competition.
Two low-budget films, “Aay” and “35 – Chinna Katha Kaadu,” have declared release dates on the same day. “Aay” is produced by GA2 Pictures and stars Narne Nithiin as the hero. Narne Nithiin recently achieved success with the film “Mad”. On the other hand, “35 – Chinna Katha Kaadu” stars Nivetha Thomas and Priyadarshi.
These two films will compete with Ram’s “Double iSmart” on August 15, 2024.
