Box-office: BMR, Jatha Kalise get superb openings

As expectedly, both Bhale Manchi Roju and Jatha Kalise have taken bumper openings that were released on December 25th. Both the movies were well-promoted. While Bhale Manchi Roju took a flying start due to its superb trailer and the pre-release buzz. Post release, the movie got better ratings and word-of-mouth is also very positive.

Clearly, Bhale Manchi Roju is winner. It is also said the movie is the highest opener in Sudheer Babu’s career.

Jatha Kalise, a very small film, is also doing superb business in mass centers. The film starring Ashwin, who made debut with hit movie Raju Gari Gadhi, and Tejaswi, popular for her roles in Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and other big movies, it did attract the youth and mass audiences. On the day one, it too received better openings. Also the great promotions did by Vaarahi Chalana Chitram, which took the movie’s rights, helped the movie a lot.

Gopichand’s Soukyam and Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu both failed to take off.
