Boyapati Srinu has successfully proved that his films can recover even Rs 70 to 80 crore of budget irrespective of the star. The massive success of ‘Akhanda’ has given confidence to the producers and distributors. So, he wants to mount his next movie on a lavish scale.
Boyapati and Ram Pothineni have teamed up. Their new film will start rolling in the coming months. Boyapati is currently giving final touches to the script and finalizing a budget.
Insiders say the film will be the most expensive movie in Ram’s career. The early estimate is that Boyapati is proposing a Rs 80 crore budget. It will escalate further. It is a big risk for the producer to recover such a massive amount.
Ram is currently working on director Lingusaamy’s ‘The Warriorr’.
