Brahmastra and KGF 2 are Google’s most searched films

Google India released its ‘Year in Search 2022’ results on Wednesday. Brahmastra and KGF 2 ranked first and second in trending movie searches. The list was topped by a Bollywood film and a Kannada film. Two Telugu films, RRR and Pushpa The Rise, were also among the top ten searches.

Other popular films included ‘Kantara,’ ‘The Kashmir Files,’ Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram,’ and the Hollywood film ‘Thor: Love and Thunder.’

Although Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ is one of the year’s biggest hits, its box-office success has been overshadowed by other language films. Unlike ‘Baahubali,’ Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ did not break box office records in Tamil, Kannada, or Hindi. So, it ranked only fourth among the most searched movies in 2022.
