Casting Couch exists in Tollywood: Ester Noronha

After divorcing her husband Noel, who is both a singer and actor, Ester has dedicated herself to developing her acting career.

In a recent interview, Ester Noronha addressed the prevalent practice of casting couch in the film industry. She acknowledged the presence of the casting couch problem in all film industries, including Tollywood. However, she advised girls to be smart in dealing with such situations in order to avoid them.

“A casting couch exists. There are people in the industry who insist on receiving advantages from actresses in exchange for movie opportunities. Similarly, certain girls possess a mindset in which they believe they must engage in certain actions in order to increase their opportunities. Some actresses openly express their willingness to do whatever it takes to obtain acting roles. This has been the prevailing condition in every film industry. Tollywood is not an exception,” she stated.
