Charmee and Puri Jagannadh: No longer producer partners?

Director Puri Jagannadh this year made Jyothilakshmi, a movie with Charmee in the lead role which she also co-produced. As she had made an agreement with Puri Jagannadh for producing some movies with his banner, she moved into his office and started operating from there.

This professional bonding between them sparked off many rumors too. But the director scoffed at them and said she is just a partner in his productions. Even during the promotions his recent movie, Loafer, too the director informed the media that Charmee will be co-producing his next movies.

But suddenly, he severed his ties with her and she was asked to leave the premises of his office Cove. As per highly reliable sources, Charmee is no longer partner in Puri Jagannadh’s productions. She may have to operate from independently.

On the other hand, Puri’s associates who suffered or felt suffocated due to the supposedly “high-handedness” of Charmee during her stint at the Cove, are in jubilant mood.

So another ‘close’ friendship industry goes kaput.
