Comedian Prudhvi, who seemed to be the most sought after comedian three years ago, is now repenting at his bad choices. Speaking to media the other day, Prudhvi said he was backstabbed by his people in his politics. His career in films is not good either.
No filmmaker is seriously considering comedian Prudhvi for their films now. Telugu cinema has moved on. Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, and others are dominating the show now in the comedy department. Prudhvi is now facing a huge crisis in his professional career. Sadly, his political stint has almost come to an end within a short period.
After being removed from the post of chairperson of Sri Venkateshwara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) over the allegations of misconduct with a woman employee, Prudhvi is said to be contemplating to quit politics.
He chose political career over movies when the YSRC party stormed into power in Andhra Pradesh. But now the same party is not encouraging him after an audio clip involving his romantic talk with a woman employee of the SVB channel went viral. This has damaged his career in politics. He says he was fooled by his own people.
However, he says he will remain at the YSRC party till his last breath. His position has become na ghar ka na ghaat ka (nor here, nor there).
