Contracting COVID19, Mani Ratnam admits to hospital

Director Mani Ratnam has tested positive for COVID-19. He has been admitted to Apollo hospitals in Chennai. He is under supervision by the medical team but his condition is reportedly stable. 

Since the director already has a heart-related ailment, he is admitted to the hospital.

Mani Ratnam completed the work on his passion project, Ponniyan Selvan. The first part of the film ‘PS-1’ will hit the theaters in September. Starring Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Trisha, ‘PS-1’ is the most-awaited project.

Actor Vikram was also recently discharged from the hospital after getting cured of discomfort in the chest.
