The Nampally Court in Hyderabad has issued notices to actor Allu Arjun in connection with the stampede case that occurred during the premiere show of “Pushpa 2” at Sandhya Theatre. The court has directed the actor to appear before it in person.
Allu Arjun was named as A11 in the case. During the premiere show of “Pushpa 2” in December 2024, a stampede broke out as crowds gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor. A woman lost her life in the incident, while her son sustained serious injuries.
Following the mishap, the police registered cases against the theatre management, security personnel, and others concerned. Allu Arjun was subsequently included as A11 in the chargesheet. The case has been under investigation and legal scrutiny for nearly two years, and the court has now asked the actor to appear personally before the judge.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun has been supporting Sai Tej, the injured son of the deceased woman, by bearing his medical expenses and providing financial assistance to the family.
