Day 1: Bheemla Nayak takes solid opening

Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Bheemla Nayak’ took the box-office by the storm. The film has collected a whopping Rs 11.80 crore in Telangana on the first day. In Andhra Pradesh, it is estimated to have raked in another Rs 14 crore (Andhra+Ceded region).

In Telangana, the film has created a record.

Due to the prevailing conditions and rules, benefit shows and extra shows were not allowed for ‘Bheemla Nayak’ in Andhra Pradesh. Hence, it suffered collections slightly in AP. Still, it has managed to post solid figures.

In the USA, the movie has already crossed the $1 million mark as it had raked in $876k from premiere shows. More than $400k came on Friday. Currently, the cumulative collection stands at $1.2 million.

‘Bheemla Nayak’ starred Pawan Kalyan and Rana in the lead roles. It is based on the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Ayyapanum Koshiyum’. Directed by Saagar Chandra and produced by Naga Vamsi, the film won fairly good reviews.
