The box office performance of Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Godfather’ is not up to the star image and stamina of the megastar. Still, it has managed to post decent numbers. The second-day collections are pretty impressive.
The film is performing strongly in Andhra Pradesh. In Telangana, the collections are ordinary. In the USA, the film collected about $580k (Rs 4.7 Cr). The film will improve its tally further as the weekend begins today.
In two days, the film has collected about Rs 21 Cr in AP and Telangana.
Directed by Mohan Raja, ‘Godfather’ is a genre-based movie, not a regular commercial film. It doesn’t have duets or heroine for the megastar.
Nagarjuna’s ‘The Ghost’ is struggling. It took the lowest opening on the first day. There is no improvement on the second day either. The film has collected Rs 2.75 Cr in two days in AP and Telangana.
