In an era where artificial intelligence is rapidly integrating into everyday life, Deepika Padukone has achieved a unique milestone. She has become the first Indian actress to lend her voice to an AI platform, partnering with Meta to voice its AI assistant across Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
The announcement came via Deepika’s Instagram, where she shared a video from inside a recording studio. Smiling into the mic, she introduced herself and said,
“Hi, I’m Deepika Padukone. I’m the new voice of Meta AI. So tap the ring, and my voice will run out.”
This collaboration marks a major crossover between Bollywood stardom and cutting-edge technology.
Meanwhile, Deepika has also been in the news for her firm stance on work-life balance.
After embracing motherhood, she reportedly set an eight-hour workday limit, even opting out of big projects like Kalki 2 and Spirit as a result. She currently has “AA22xA6” with Allu Arjun and “King” with Shah Rukh Khan in the pipeline.
