Did Hrithik Roshan unfollow NTR post ‘War 2’?

Hrithik Roshan and NTR shared screen space in War 2, which hit theaters on August 14. The film failed to create magic at the box office and performed particularly poorly in Telugu states. Now, social media is abuzz with talk that Hrithik Roshan has unfollowed NTR on Instagram. However, there is no record of him ever following NTR in the first place. As of today, Hrithik does not follow NTR on Instagram.

There is also no confirmation that the film’s result led to any fallout between the two stars.

Still, social media chatter, largely driven by fans of NTR’s rival stars, has been fueling the narrative that Hrithik hit the unfollow button on Monday, just four days after the film’s release.

NTR’s Instagram

As of August 2025, NTR has 8.1 million followers, but he doesn’t follow anyone. Like Hrithik, NTR also restricts his account usage to film and brand promotions. Interestingly, even during the promotions of “War 2,” he did not follow Hrithik Roshan on either Twitter or Instagram, despite doing joint social media campaigns with him.
