Kiran Abbavaram’s upcoming film “K-Ramp,” directed by debutant Jains Nani and produced by Hasya Movies and Rudransh Celluloid, is set for a Diwali release on October 18. Speaking about the film, Jains Nani clarified that despite the bold-sounding title, K-Ramp is a complete family entertainer designed to attract both youth and general audiences.
He explained that the title was chosen to suit the hero’s character arc, emphasizing that the trailer’s edgy tone was a deliberate strategy to draw younger viewers first.
“Once the youth like it, they’ll bring their families,” he said, assuring that the film has a solid story with relatable emotions and surprising interval moments.
The director, an IIT Madras alumnus, spoke highly of Kiran Abbavaram’s involvement, stating they shaped the script around his energy. Actress Yukti plays the female lead after undergoing workshops, with the story shifting to a Kerala backdrop for freshness, humor, and vibrant visuals.
Jains Nani is confident that K-Ramp will stand strong amid Diwali competition. “Fun is guaranteed throughout,” he promised, noting guest appearances by Kamna Jethmalani.
