Allu Arjun’s ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ has created a storm at box-office in its first week. Despite mixed reviews, Allu Arjun has proved his box-office power. The film has collected a massive Rs 50 Cr (share) from Telugu states in just seven days. This is one of the all-time biggest shares for a Telugu movie.
The over all worldwide gross of the movie is nearly to the tune of Rs 100 cr. One must say, Allu Arjun has proved with ‘DJ’ that his star power at box-office has increased multi-fold. The movie shattered records of his earlier movie ‘Sarrainodu’.
“DJ’ also performed on strong note in Karnataka and other states in India. But the collections of Karnataka and other states are not reliable for any Telugu movie. So, we are restricting this report to AP and TS and USA collections.
In USA, the movie didn’t perform strongly though it has come near to one million dollars (988k) in its first week. All in all, “DJ” has posted terrific numbers in the opening week
