Ram Pothineni and director Puri Jagannadh have joined forces again. Their previous collaboration, “iSmart Shankar,” was a sensational hit. So, they have teamed up and are working on its sequel.
Titled “Double iSmart,” the film’s release date was fixed as March 8, 2024. But the shooting is not progressing smoothly. Due to several issues including crash of OTT and Hindi dubbing market, the shooting was halted recently.
Hence, it would be impossible for the team to meet the deadline. Inside sources say director Puri Jagannadh and producer Charmee are now looking for a late summer release.
“Double iSmart” features Ram in the lead role. Kavya Thapar is the heroine. Mani Sharma composes the music.
