Drug Case: Police raid Vivek Oberoi’s house

In connection with the Sandalwood Drug scandal, Bengaluru’s Central Crime Branch police today searched Bollywood actor Vivek Oberai’s Mumbai residence. They raided Oberoi’s house in search of his brother-in-law Aditya Alva, a Bengaluru resident. Aditya Alva has been in absconding since the drug racket busted.

Aditya Alva allegedly maintained connections with drug peddlers. Kannada film actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani have been arrested in this case.

Vivek Oberoi is a BJP sympathizer, and also played the role of Narendra Modi in the PM’s biopic. Despite Oberoi’s connections with BJP, police are hell-bent on taking his brother-in-law into custody in this case.
