Nearly 10 films opened in theaters last weekend. Notable films include Shivam Bhaje, Buddy, Tiragabadara Saami, and Alanati Ramachandrudu. The worst part is that none of these films even had respectable opening collections.
Ashwin Babu’s “Shivam Bhaje” was a non-starter from the outset. Critics also gave thumbs down. On the other hand, audiences rejected Allu Sirish’s film “Buddy.” It failed to even entice Allu Arjun’s fans. Due to their heavy marketing and promising trailers, many expected these two films to have good openings. Despite this, the audience did not turn up.
On the other side, “Tiragabadara Saami,” which starred Raj Tarun and Malvi Malhotra, who are said to be dating, failed badly. Despite Raj Tarun’s name being in the news due to his controversies, the film failed to attract audiences.
“Alanati Ramachandrudu”, a small film, didn’t receive any positive reviews. Overall, the Telugu film industry experienced another poor weekend.
