Exclusive: Samantha to play the role of Savitri!
Samantha who has not signed any Telugu film after the release of ‘Janatha Garage’ is said to have excited by the narration of director Nag Ashwin. The ‘Yevade Subramanyam’ director is planning a new movie and he approached her for this. So impressed by his story, she readily agreed to do this movie, says a source.
Nag Ashwin won critical praise for his debut movie ‘Yevade Subramanyam’ that starred Nani as lead hero. Nag Ashwin has been planning to do a biopic of Mahanati Savitri, the great yesteryears actress. It is not clear whether he has approached her for this role of Savitri or for another movie.
