Even before the formal official announcement, the movie in the combination of Venkatesh and director Krish is dropped off, a source informed us.
Soon after the release of Balakrishna’s 100th movie ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’, Krish approached Venkatesh to direct the star’s 75th film. Krish informed the media then that he is getting all milestone movies of various stars. Not only that, Krish’s production company has also registered a title called ‘Veeraiah’ for Venkatesh’s movie. But it is not happening now, the source added.
Exact reason for this cancellation of the project is not known but grapevine has it that the story idea has some ‘copyright issues’. Another director has the rights over this story.
