Fauji nears completion, targets October release

Prabhas is making steady progress with his upcoming period action drama Fauji, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The film has already wrapped up nearly 80 percent of its shoot.

Producer representatives revealed that most of the filming is complete, with only a few action sequences featuring Prabhas left to be shot. Once these high-intensity portions are wrapped, the project will move fully into post-production.

Despite the pending action blocks, the makers are confident about meeting their planned October release timeline.

Set in the 1940s during the British era, “Fauji” blends action with emotional depth while exploring socio-political tensions of the time. The film features Imanvi as the female lead, alongside a strong supporting cast including Jaya Prada, Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Chaitra J Achar.
