It took more than five years for a Bollywood movie to break the record set by ‘Baahubali 2’. The Hindi version of Rajamouli’s graphical extravaganza collected Rs 510 Cr nett in. No other Hindi film could come near to it in the last five years.
Finally, Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan” broke the record. The film in its sixth weekend went past “Baahubali 2” collections.
With no new releases making any impact at the box office, “Pathaan” continued its run. Now, it has become all-time number one Hindi movie in India.
“Pathaan” starred Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the Hindi actioner also has Salman Khan’s cameo and John Abraham in the villain’s role.
