Five movies compete in the last weeks of 2024

Only five movies have remained in the 18 days of 2024. With the exit of Nithiin’s “Robinhood,” the slate of new releases has turned dull. Among these five movies, only two are exciting. They are Priyadarshi-starrer “Sarangapani Jathakam” and Allari Naresh’s “Bachalamalli.”

Both Allari Naresh’s action drama and Priyadarshi’s comedy entertainer are competing with each other on the same day.

Allari Naresh is all set to stun in the rustic action entertainer “Bachalamalli,” directed by Subbu Mangadevvi of Solo Brathuke So Better fame. It is a mass actioner with a twist. ‘Sarangapani Jathakam,’ directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti, stars Priyadarshi and Roopa Koduvayur as the lead pair. The film explores the philosophical question of fatalism vs. free will.

Two small films, “Patang” and “Drinker Sai,” will hit the theaters in the final week.
