‘Gangs of Godavari’ has blockbuster potential: Balakrishna

A pre-release event for “Gangs of Godavari” was held today, coinciding with NT Ramarao’s 101st birth anniversary.

Nandamuri Balakrishna attended the event as the chief guest. The film starring Vishwak Sen, Anjali and Neha Sshetty is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya and directed by Krishna Chaitanya.

“Vishwak Sen feels like a brother to me. We both try to offer something new with each film. Gangs of Godavari is a captivating title. Gangs of Godavari, like its trailer, has all the elements of a blockbuster,” Nandamuri Balakrishna said.

Vishwak Sen stated that ‘Gangs of Godavari’ was a pivotal film in his career. “When I was injured while filming, Nandamuri Balakrishna consoled me as if he were a family member. The film began with a tribute to NTR, and we’re holding this event on his birth anniversary today,” he explained.

‘Gangs of Godavari’ is scheduled to hit the theaters this Friday.
