Goutham Reddy’s death: Bheemla Nayak event canceled

Pawan Kalyan has expressed deep shock over the untimely demise of Andhra Pradesh IT and Industries Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy. The Minister passed away on Monday morning after suffering a heart attack in Hyderabad.

The actor-politician has decided to cancel the pre-release event of his upcoming film, Bheemla Nayak. The event is scheduled to take place this evening in Hyderabad. “My heart does not agree to celebrate Bhimla Nayak’s event at this tragic time,” he said.

“Our deepest condolences to the family & friends of AP Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy garu on his sudden demise. As a mark of respect, the pre-release event of #BheemlaNayak won’t be happening today!” the production house announced in a statement.

‘Bheemla Nayak’ is slated to hit the theaters this Friday (Feb 25). Directed by Saagar Chandra, the film stars Pawan Kalyan and Rana in the lead roles.
