Actress Hema Kolla has made an emotional claim that her mother passed away due to the stress and pain caused by fake news surrounding her. It may be recalled that actress was accused of being involved in a rave party in Bengaluru nearly some time ago.
Hema recently released a heartfelt video expressing deep sorrow, revealing that the misinformation and online trolling severely impacted her mother’s health.
“The Karnataka High Court dismissed the case against me on November 3. I didn’t reveal it immediately as I was waiting for the official judgment copy. I was fortunate to share this good news with my mother, but she could not bear the humiliation I faced. She was shattered by the trolls and false propaganda spread on social media, and it affected her health severely,” Hema said.
She further added, “Even though I repeatedly stated that I did nothing wrong, no one paid attention. I have now won the case, but my mother is no longer with me. She passed away because she couldn’t handle the fake news directed at me. Will those who tarnished my name bring my mother back,” she lamented.
After the drug allegations, Hema stopped getting work. She has mostly confined herself to doing reels and YouTube videos.
