Actress Hema, who was released on bail in a rave party case in Bengaluru, met with Manchu Vishnu, president of the Movie Artistes Association (MAA), to renew her membership.
MAA represents all actors working in the Telugu cinema industry. However, after Hema was arrested in a rave party drug case in Bengaluru, the MAA terminated her membership.
She claimed that MAA made a rushed conclusion without first providing her with a show cause notice or considering her version.
Now that she was out of that case, Hema petitioned MAA to reinstate her membership.
Hema, an actress known for playing mother, sister-in-law, and sister roles, was among those arrested by Bengaluru police for organizing rave parties where drugs were used and sold.
