I am married, I can't do it: Karthi

Film stars debuting in politics has become a matter of discussion of late.  Film celebs from Kollywood have been facing some question or the other regarding politics or their political plans.  This is because Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth have come to hog headlines these days.  

When Karthi was on Monday in Hyderabad to promote his upcoming film ‘Khakee’ (November 17th release), he was asked about whether he will enter politics.  True to his style, the actor gave a hilarious reply.  “I am married and so, I won’t be able to spend time on politics,” he said, laughing out loudly.

What about his friend Vishal?  “He is a bachelor.  Politics would suit him,” he said in a jocular manner.  

Karthi feels that Kamal will make a good politician.  “Kamal sir says or does something only if he has done proper research.  And once he steps in to do it, he doesn’t step back.  I feel that this public personality will always be accessible for people as a politician,” the ‘Oopiri’ and ‘Cheliyaa’ actor said.
