Vijay Deverakonda’s “Kingdom,” which has already faced two postponements, is set to be rescheduled once again. The film will now miss its planned release date of July 4th.
The latest delay is reportedly due to post-production issues. According to industry buzz, music director Anirudh Ravichander has yet to complete the film’s background score. Known for taking his time with re-recording, Anirudh is unlikely to finish the score before the end of this month. As a result, the makers have decided to push the release once more.
So far, only one song from the film has been released. While Anirudh currently enjoys the status of being the top music composer in the country, his unpredictable work style and scheduling habits have become a concern for filmmakers, often causing delays in project timelines.
“Kingdom” is a crucial film for Vijay Deverakonda, and expectations are high. The film is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri of Jersey fame, who shares a strong professional rapport with Anirudh Ravichander.
