Is Vijay Deverakonda’s planning going haywire?

Vijay Deverakonda is going through a rough patch in his career. His recent films have failed at the box office, and it has been a while since he delivered a commercial success.

At a time when he desperately needs a strong comeback, uncertainty looms over the release of his next film.

Vijay Deverakonda has been working on “Kingdom,” directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. Originally scheduled for a March release, the film was postponed due to incomplete work. The team then rescheduled it for July 4, 2025.

However, Nithiin’s “Thammudu,” which is now back on track, has locked in the same release date after learning about Kingdom’s likely delay. Though an official statement from Vijay Deverakonda’s team is still awaited, it is clear that the film’s release has been pushed again due to further production delays.

This situation underscores an ongoing issue: Deverakonda’s planning and judgment regarding his projects appear to be faltering. The repeated postponements of “Kingdom” are the latest example of how the film is gradually losing its momentum.
