Getting the feel of the original movie in another language is not easy even if it is directed by the original director. More so in the case of love stories that hinge on the chemistry of the lead pair and the magical moments. This is the reason why many film producers don’t buy the remake rights of ‘pure love stories’. Now, all eyes on ‘Jaanu’, which is a remake of Tamil hit movie ‘96’. Prem Kumar who directed ‘96’ in Tamil helmed the Telugu version as well. But will it click in Telugu as it did in Tamilnadu?
The result will be out tomorrow. The whole Telugu film industry is keenly observing this movie. The negative factor for this Telugu version is that the music didn’t become a rage yet.
Though both Samantha and Sharwanand are fine actors who can pull off any role, would the recreate the magic that Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi had done in Tamil? We have to wait and see.
