Janani video song: The collage of ‘RRR’ theme

The much-hyped video song of “Janani” from Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’ is here. Rajamouli has said the song is the underlying emotional core to all the pulse-pounding moments in this period drama. It sums up the emotion of the story, he said.

Composed, written, and sung by MM Keeravani, the soulful track tries to evoke a patriotic feel. The video is a collage of moments from the film, with both Ram Charan and NTR, playing the roles of freedom warriors Alluri Sita Ramaraju and Komaram Bheem, showcasing the shock and pain they endured in their relentless fight against the oppressor. Ajay Devgn is shown as a rebel leader who leads a rebellion and declares that he is a personification for revolt. He tells his wife (Shriya) that she shares half of all the mutiny he does.

There are also sequences of kids being victims of the oppressive regime. Make no mistake, the song denotes in every note that is a patriotic theme.

Directed by master filmmaker Rajamouli, the film has Alia Bhatt as Ram Charan’s wife. Olivia Morris is paired opposite NTR. Scheduled to hit the screens on 7th January, ‘RRR’ is the most-awaited pan-Indian film in 2022.
